Just starting out
Grab a few booster packs. Opening them is the fun part, and it's the cheapest way to find out whether they're into it.
Birthday or holiday gift
An Elite Trainer Box. It looks like a gift, has several packs inside, and comes with the sleeves and dice they need to actually play.
They want one specific Pokémon
Buy the single. Chasing one card through packs can take dozens of packs. Buying the card itself is almost always cheaper.
Not sure which set they collect? Bring a photo of their binder and we'll point you in the right direction.
Selling Pokémon cards
We buy Pokémon too: singles, binders, sealed product and slabs. Holos and full-art cards in clean condition are what move the needle. Bulk commons are worth a lot less, but we'll still look.
